What does Sign PDF not protect?

It is a visual overlay only. It does not provide tamper evidence or cryptographic verification.

What this does not protect

• This produces a visual image overlay, not a cryptographic digital signature with legal non-repudiation.
• The signature PNG is embedded in the page and can be visually copied from the output.
• It cannot fix compromised devices, accounts, or unsafe sharing channels.
