How to use Crop PDF

  1. Upload a PDF and select the crop unit: percentage or absolute points.
  2. Choose uniform margins (same on all sides) or per-side values for precise control.
  3. Optionally narrow the crop to specific page ranges instead of all pages.
  4. Click Crop pages and review the result summary for pages affected.
  5. Download the cropped PDF and check that no important content was trimmed.

Tips

  • Start with a small uniform percentage like 5-10% to test before aggressive cropping.
  • Use per-side mode when documents have uneven margins, such as bound or scanned materials.
  • Combine cropping with page numbers afterward to re-add consistent footer numbering.

Frequently asked questions

What does Crop PDF change?

It adjusts the visible crop area of PDF pages by trimming margins from one or more sides.

Is Crop PDF private by default?

All cropping runs locally in your browser with no file uploads.

What does Crop PDF not protect?

It adjusts the visible area but underlying content beyond the crop box may still exist in the file.

Limitations
